    Default ts2ps.exe doesn't work

    ts2ps.exe does not seem to work correctly in all situations. I use the WinTV HVR 1100 and WinTV 7 2.4D version. The operating system is Windows XP Pro SP3. Problems seems to be in situations when the aspect ratio changes from 4:3 to 16:9 and back. The conversion seems to be disrupted at the same location on several different recording just the end of commercial breaks. Also converted mpg file audio and video do not seem to be properly synchronized. ts2ps.exe previous versions have not had a similar problem.

    Sorry, but the recording files are so big that I can not be made ​​available to download. I tried to get the problems happen on shorter recordings, but without success. For information: aspect ratio alone does not appear to have been the problem, but converting all of the recording is interrupted every time. But a very short recordings is converted correctly. Picture and sound do not stay synchronized and sometimes the sound disappears in converted file at some point. So something is terribly wrong in ts2ps.exe program. What changes have been made in 2.4D version of ts2ps.exe? Is there any way possible to get some older ts2ps.exe, so that the recordings would be able to convert mpg files successfully?

    When the next version of the wintv v7 will be published? Should I first test a newer version, before I send files to you?

    What is the address where I can send the DVDs? Is there an address in Finland?

    CD 2.5 should go up today. Try again with this and if still a problem, I'd need you to mail it to the UK office where i'm located.

    CD 2.5 version has the same problems in ts2ps.exe conversion.

    Am I right, that "using demux" and for "using mux" settings have been changed in version 2.4D? Is this a problem? I remember that previously had been a few years ago a similar problem and had to edit the registry, so that ts2ps.exe used the correct setting.

    Is this the right address, where I send the DVD's? I am enclosing the output this discussion as a reference to the letter, so that you know what DVD discs contain. Do I put name of the person to the address field to whom I address a letter?

    How about who will pay the shipping costs? However, this is not a problem.

    Hi,

    That's correct address put Mr X c/o Technical Support and it will get to me.

    I can send over the cost of postage to you.

    These new log messages just show which filters we use. We have changed the mux we use though as we moved to a better mux which we have control over and can update. Once we have the TS here it should be simple to fix.

    Now today, I sent two DVDs, and they should arrive about 4 days.

    DVD1: Video \ Recording1.ts (this is the same file as I mentioned earlier Aliens_-_paluu_ (16) _20120106_2249.ts. Conversion stops at 12% point, and sometimes the sound and the picture may be from time to time is not synchronized, or the sound will disappear completely. Partial scenes may disappear depending on how the watch mpg file using media Player)

    DVD2: TS \ Recording2.ts (conversion fails and stops at 21% point. Sometimes the sound and picture may be from time to time is not synchronized, or the sound will disappear completely. Partial scenes may be lost depending on how to watch mpg file using Media Player)

    DVD2: TS \ subtitles_problem.ts (an example of the DVB-T subtitles, how they are displayed incorrectly when you watching TV)

    Recording2.ts is special, because conversion always is interrupted. However, once conversion has gone to 100%. It seems that to try converting the same file always gives slightly different results. Sometimes the audio and video are not synchronized at all, but then sometimes the conversion successfully in some aspects, and for example, voice and image are synchronized, but while the rest may have been other similar problems. The conversion is interrupted usually after 12 to 21%.
